what's up kids I never keep this thing up to date any more but here's some life updates for y'all
I graduated with a first-class Masters degree and am now on the hunt for a job! Fingers crossed I'll get something sorted in the next month or so but in the meantime any money I make off my art is greatly needed and appreciated - there are a couple of ways you can help me out financially which are listed at the bottom of this post. I also have a few commission slots going every so often, so if you're interested in getting a quote just send me a PM.
I'm sadly not that active on here anymore, mainly because I use dA really only for 'finished' pieces and 80% of the stuff I draw these days is either sketchbook work or scrappy fandom stuff, so very little of my work actually ends up here. However I am hoping to chance that, now that I've kinda got my groove back and gained a lot of confidence I'm going to try and get back into doing full illustrations again. In the meantime if you want to see all the other stuff I'm drawing (which is a lot these days!) then I highly recommend following me on Facebook/Instagram/Tumblr, which I've included links for at the bottom as well. I've also started a D&D-themed blog which I'm using to document our current campaign, so if five idiots with terrible character voices and Chronic Low Rolling Syndrome is your kind of thing I would encourage you to check that out (it's also full of general D&D related cool stuff and fanart/posts about various D&D podcasts and other people's campaigns).
I think that's it?? Nothing else exciting has happened :'D I took a year out from conventions this year because it was my final year of uni and I hadn't produced any new content, but I have big hopes for 2018 and am super keen to get back on the circuit and start making comics again. I haven't yet decided what my next project is going to be but there are a few contenders at the moment so watch this space I guess!

New fic on AO3 (twice!)
I’ve uploaded two new fics to my AO3 page recently! One is Gen-rated and can be found here, the other is a multi-chapter work that is currently rated M but that may change once new chapters are uploaded. Hope you enjoy reading, and as always feedback and suggestions for future things to write about are heavily encouraged!
1 year Twitch anniversary!
Next Thursday (22nd June) is my 1-year anniversary of streaming solo on Twitch! Thank you to everyone who's tuned in/followed/subbed etc. in the last 12 months, streaming has been a great experience for me so far and I hope I can do more with it in the future! To celebrate I'll be doing some sketch requests at the top of the stream next week; viewers can suggest things while we're live but Kofi Subscribers can also leave a suggestion in the comments here! Tune in on Thursday at 8pm BST (ish) at www.twitch.tv/jamscandraw! Become a Kofi supporter at https://ko-fi.com/jamscandraw
