Sample Contest Entry: Ray

This is a sample entry for the 'New Recruit' contest over at #SpectrobesFC in case people get a bit stuck and want something they can use as a reference C: Don't worry, your entry does not have to be as detailed as this! One image is totally fine as long as it's clear.
I also wanted to try out a slightly more cartoony style of drawing faces, I quite like it!

Name: Ray (hurr I'm so manly)
Age: 18
Planet of Origin: Daichi. In my headcanon Daichi is where all the agricultural stuff goes on and most closely resembles rural countryside, and I'm a West Country lass C:
Rank/Position: Fossil Researcher and Excavator at the Fossil Research Facility on Genshi (part of the Research and Development Division). When I was little, I wanted to be a palaeontologist. No word of a lie. I was obsessed with dinosaurs (still am) and have never been afraid of getting muddy, so my dream job would genuinely be sitting in the dirt digging up fossils all day.
Description of costume: Directly inspired by both the Professors and Wakaba.
Green - I like green, and I have a pair of green trousers I wear an awful lot.
Big clunky boots - I like big clunky boots, and I have a pair of Doc Martens I wear an awful lot.
Halterneck shirt - I like halternecks, and probably should have been born in the 1950s.
Elbow and knee guards - because I'll be crawling around on the ground all day.
Big baggy shirt - for when I feel the need to pull sleeves over my hands, which is pretty much all the time. And I used to wear just baggy shirts and nothing but.
Goggles - I like goggles, and have a pair of steampunk ones which are attached to my giant Cossack hat. Plus, goggles will help me keep dust out of my eyes.
Mavrascope on right arm - to scan for stuff hidden in the ground, like Rallen does with his Spectrobes and to analyse rocks and minerals.
Lots and lots of pockets - to keep all the treasure I find! I go insane if the clothes I'm wearing don't have pockets, I have my hands in my pockets all the time.

I hope this is of help to anyone considering entering the contest! I doubt my Spectrobesona will make an appearance in the GENESIS story, but who knows, she might get a sneaky cameo.
