Antimony Bismuth and the IFM

Full title: Antimony Bismuth and the Imaginary Flying Machine

My entry for =Chao-Illustrations's artbook contest. I hope that three whole weeks of hard work is worth it ^^

New character - as if I didn't have enough already *shot* I desperately wanted to do steampunk for the contest, but none of my female characters really fitted the bill for what I had in mind, so I created Anty instead.

Antimony Bismuth is 15 years old and ever since she was a little girl has always wanted to fly. When she was young she and her childhood friend Kit Argon would spend endless hours pretending they could soar through the heavens on a flying machine they had created, which came to be known as their Imaginary Flying Machine. With the help of his elder brother Dietrich, a top mechanical engineer, Kit put his aspirations of being an inventor to good use and designed and built a real version of the IMF for Antimony's 15th birthday.

ALL DRAWN BY HAND, KIDS. On A4 paper aswell. You have no idea how small some of those details were. This took only about four hours to colour. I'm pleasantly surprised.
