2014 Art Summary

So it's a day late but shhhhhh
I don't usually do these but I thought I'd make one this year to stick on my Facebook page and just to have a look because I'm curious!
Luckily choosing stuff for each month wasn't too difficult this time around - because of being at university and having a job over the summer my arting time this year has been significantly lower than in previous years so I've only done one or two big pieces per month this year. 

I can't say I can really see much improvement between the months but there's been a definite change since 2013 (summary can be seen here) which is reassuring :> 2014 was the year of trying new things - not in a big way, but I've had a lot of fun this year discovering the joys of pastels, coloured linearts and playing with line weights :> 2014 was also the year where I realised that colouring every single person you draw as pasty white gets really boring after a while xD

Despite not getting nearly enough drawing done this year, I'm still pretty pleased with what I have drawn - January, July and December are personal favourites of mine, and May and July were both pieces for UK artbooks so I'm very proud of those two in particular C: I can only hope 2015 pleases me even more! I'm determined to draw on a more regular basis, even if it's just little things - I recently started actually using my sketchbook for sketches so that should help - and to make some proper progress with current projects so I can finish them and move on to more stuff I'm really excited to start. I know the I.Wish comic has been dead since the summer and I'm really sorry about that but I got stuck in a rut and workload and social life and stress and loads of other stuff prevented me from maintaining a regular update schedule which just kind of messed things up. I'm back to (slowly) working on the script though so with any luck there will be new pages by the end of January, I promise <3 I also need to start drawing more Spectrobes stuff again because it's awesome and I miss it.
I have lots of other big plans I want to get into motion too but I'll talk about them in a journal in the near future!
