Just in case you've been living under a rock for a month, Sunday was Exeter Comic Expo where I had myself an artist's table and had a grand old time - it was only a very small event with maybe 20-ish tables, but everyone was really friendly and lovely and I made just over £60, which for me was amazing considering it was only a 5-hour event, on a Sunday and nobody knew who I was! I sold almost all my ACEOs but a few are still leftover, have a look yourself: and Christmas cards will be available in my online shop very soon!
I've been invited back for next year's event, which is a definite yes, and also to attend another con organised by the same people - nothing is definite yet but I'll hopefully be found at PLYMOUTH ANIMANGA POP in February!
Sunday wore me out, I was on my feet all day and then once I got home I was barely able to sit down before I was off out again - my favourite band ever, Area 11, were playing a local venue and OH MY GOD WHAT A GIG
It was only a tiny venue but that made it so much better - we were literally right in front of the stage and within three metres of the band members and I GOT A SETLIST MY LIFE IS COMPLETE
10/10 will watch them again every time.
Random sidenote: My Facebook page is almost at 400 likes! As soon as I hit 400 I'll be doing something to celebrate, and if I hit the target before Christmas I'll do a little prize-giveaway, so if you like free stuff hit that thumbs up button!
Now that all my crazy con-preparation is out of the way I can finally relax a little bit, but not for long as exams are on their way ;n; But before that, lots of drawing will be done! I've drawn hardly anything for weeks and I really want to get back into my groove so expect a lot of messy sketches while I remember how to draw things.
Jammy out! <3
